*Applying Your Layout*

Begin by having your profile page on the Hill open and the page of the layout you want to use.

Reset Your Design.

Then select the main menu tab.

Look to the right side of your main page and select the "main" theme in the drop down list (it will change automatically on selection).

 

Go to the layout code of the layout you want to use and right click inside the code box and click select all.

After it is all highlighted, right click again and select copy.

Once copied, go to your "Design My Profile page on the Hill and scroll down to the Advanced CSS box at the very bottom. Click inside the box to see your cursor prompt and right click inside and select paste.

All the code should be pasted inside the Advanced CSS box now, click save and view your profile to see the changes.

You can only make changes through the custom CSS coding in the Advanced box once you have applied a custom layout. The custom coding overrides the design coding above it. If you wish to change your layout, you must remove your current layout by selecting all and deleting, then saving your changes. You can also get help with CSS coding and what to change by reading tutorials on css and changing attributes within the code to change font size, color and so on.
